Ardbeg
Ardbeg is a completed 441-page graphic novel in 12 chapters, painted in gouache, ink and digital pen.
It follows William Stuart Ardbeg (B.S. Ardbeg), an influential psychotherapist, author and 1960s guru, through the eyes of his granddaughter Rita decades after his death.
Rita arrives at Ardbeg's Glasgow home to help transform it into a house museum, accompanied by her quiet Finnish novelist boyfriend, Karlsnil. As they settle into the house, she begins to uncover the lives of Ardbeg's four former wives through the rooms they each left behind. Yet the man himself remains absent until Rita discovers a hidden basement containing his library and consulting rooms, revealing the unsettling methods behind his therapeutic practice.
